Cheryl Ann’s School of Music & Singing offers private voice training and audition preparation for dedicated singers in Sunnyside, Long Island City, Manhattan, and online.
Founded by Cheryl Ann Cassidy, a singer and certified NYC music educator, the studio combines professional performance experience with a strong foundation in music education and vocal development.
With more than a decade of experience as a performer and educator, Cheryl Ann takes an individualized approach to vocal training, helping singers develop a strong connection between the body and voice while building strength, control, confidence, and expressive freedom.
Cheryl Ann works with a select number of students, allowing each singer to receive highly personalized instruction. Training may include vocal technique, musicianship, repertoire development, performance coaching, and audition preparation based on each student’s individual goals.
Her students have successfully auditioned for Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School, the Professional Performing Arts School (PPAS), Frank Sinatra School of the Arts, Special Music School, and other competitive performing arts programs.
Students have also been accepted into college music and performing arts programs including Berklee College of Music and NYU Tisch School of the Arts, with some receiving scholarship offers.
Students have received callbacks for Broadway productions and, with Cheryl Ann’s guidance and preparation, have gone on to secure representation with performing arts and talent agencies.
Every lesson is tailored to the individual singer. Whether a student is building a strong technical foundation, preparing for an important audition, or working toward advanced performance goals, the focus is on developing a confident, expressive, and sustainable voice.
