NYC native singer - songwriter Cheryl Ann Cassidy is just about to release her first full length studio album set for release in 2021. The album produced by Grammy award winner Brian Forbes, will feature tracks featuring some of the classic Irish tunes Cheryl was raised on.
The album will also feature two new originals the first which is titled “Actions” and was co-written with the talented Irish songwriter Mark Caplice.
The second release titled “Coming Home” is co-written with the talented New York City composer Shanan Estreicher and producer Brian Forbes.

With a bit of Irish charm mixed with New York City flare, Cheryl Ann Cassidy is a unique artist making her mark in the music industry. Cheryl Ann developed her love for singing in Queens, New York growing up listening to the Irish tunes of her parents' homeland of Tyrone, Ireland.

As a singer, Cheryl Ann made a name for herself as a performer with her rich, emotionally transparent voice, influenced by the likes of Celine Dion, Martina McBride, Cara Dillon, and Mary Black
Cheryl Ann is well known for her impassioned and moving ballads. Her distinctively sensitive, yet powerful voice awes listeners. Singing since the age of six, Cheryl Ann got her start at the prestigious Fiorello H. LaGuardia Performing Arts High School in New York City as a vocal major. Cheryl Ann then went on to graduate with her Bachelors Degree in Music Education & Vocal studies from Aaron Copland School of Music and received her Masters in Special Education with a concentration in musical therapy.
She’s also experienced a successful touring career, performing at venues, large and small, both as a headliner and opener for many musical acts in the US and in Ireland. She has also performed on charter cruises with The New York Showband as their lead singer.
Cheryl Ann got her first taste of songwriting in 2016 while working with songwriter/producer Greg French. She also was the opening tour act for successful Irish Language Band named Seo Linn in the summer of 2016.
The multi-talented Cheryl Ann has appeared in multiple commercials and movies, including The Voice, Glee Project, and Irish TV (Mary From Dungloe), and Teen Kids News. Her most recent projects include playing the role of Shannon Donnellan in the new netflix pilot titled Manhattan South and a most recent nationwide commercial for Tula Skin Care and Samsung. Cheryl Ann also originated the role of Emily in a developmental musical titled Once Round the Circle and has performed in numerous regional musical theatre productions.
One of Cheryl's most recent performances, hit over 400,000 views on social media and was shared by major media outlets such as Forgotten Ireland, Glasgow Irish Bands & Gigs, and more. The video was also shared by none other than Phil Coulter and Mary Black.
